YOGA

yoga is a way of life.It's a technique which helps an individual to retain his/her state of calmness.Yoga helps an individual to establish contact with paramathma or GOD.Pathanjali,father of YOGA,describes yoga as way to aquire knowledge of self.Different stages of Yoga are,

Yamas or eternal vows

Niyamas or observances

Yogasanas or yoga postures

Pranayama or breath control exercises

Pratyahara or withdrawal of the senses from distractions of the outside world

Dharana or concentration on an object, place or subject

Dhyana or the continuance of this concentration-meditation

Samadhi or the ultimate stage of yoga meditation.
Yoga will help us to keep harmony with others and self.If we are not keeping harmony it will cause frustrations and lead us to a breakdown.All of us needs to be happy in life and yoga practises help us to be happy in life.But it is not a materialistic happiness alone.It is a happiness we will get by controling our own mind.In Yoga,anybody who can control the mind is a Rajayogi.Yoga will help us to be happy by concentrating and uniting our own mind with GOD.In Yoga we have different excercises for body and mind.It is very difficult to master all postures in Yoga.It is always better to start yoga with the help of a trainer.Never try to practise pranayama without the help of a practised trainer.
